Why escalation matters more here, not less

Retatrutide is a triple agonist, adding glucagon receptor activity to GLP-1 and GIP. The glucagon arm is the mechanistic reason to expect a larger effect and also the reason heart rate and hepatic signals are watched in the trials. A slower step-up is the standard response to that uncertainty.
